Introduction
Surviving Total Danger

Pits of fire were all over, leaving smoke stands that rose fifty feet into the air. The sun was blocked out by the sky ships of the overlords, The Anti-Mutant Movement. They were everywhere, controlling everything. There was no hope left. The Mutants were the enemies again, and they were all being hunted.

All around the grassy plain was totally destruction. The Sentinel robot stomped forward, snapping trees as it advanced towards the small group of the final resistance, the final Mutants. There was no one left, it was the final battle.

"Alright, now we'll only get one shot at this, so don't screw it up…" Wolverine said as he eyeballed his much younger teammates. Some had been on missions with him before, and for others, this was their first mission. They were hidden by a tree that had fallen in the battle, its green canopy acting as a shield for them. But their cover wouldn't last long. Either they made their move, or got trampled by the seventy foot robot. "Stay close, do your part, and try not to die" he said. All around him the seven teenagers stared at him with wide eyes.

"Black Panther, you're up!" Wolverine shouting as the Sentinel spotted the small group. The young boy stepped up. His name was Azari, son of the X-Man, Storm, and Avenger, Black Panther. The young mutant cracked his knuckles and took a deep breath.

"Here it goes!" he said. Black Panther had been on missions before, but this was different. This was life or death now. There was no one else, just them. He hovered over the ground and floated towards the large robot with his arms out in front of him. The Sentinel spotted him.

"Mutant Scanners optimizing…" The automaton announced. Through its electronic eyes it analyzed Black Panther as he flew towards it. "Subject identified: Level Three Mutant!" it said raising its blaster gun. The gun powered on.

"Shoot this, you big hunk of tin!" Black Panther shouted. From his fists, lightning fired. It danced in the air as it traveled outward towards the large giant robot, hitting it directly. The Sentinel's power surged with the shock and then adjusted.

"Eliminate the Mutant threat!" the Sentinel said raising its gun once again. The gun powered and shot.

"Azari!" Torunn shouted. The Asguard girl shouted. She jumped up and flew into the air, tackling her friend out of the way of the Sentinel's death ray. While Black Panther was fast, he was not faster than his teammate, Torunn.

She was the Daughter of Thor, and had his powers as well. Once out of the death ray's blast, Torunn raised her Asguardian sword and pointed it at the robot seeking her death.

"Thou shall not take another life you vile machine!" she promised. Torunn's mystic sword surged with her father's godly lightning and fired at the Sentinel's head and down the robot went.

"Nice shot!" Black Panther compliment to his teammate. She smiled at him and flew downwards to the ground, letting him on his feet.

"Thank you, and now my comrade…" she said raising her sword, "For Asguard!" she roared. Torunn ran with all of her speed towards the Sentinel. Black Panther rubbed his arm.

"Um yeah…Asguard!" he said while he fist pumped. Wolverine appeared next to Azari with his arms crossed. He had that same look on the face, the one he always had. The look put people off and made them feel uncomfortable.

"Pym!" Wolverine shouted, "Get that thing offline, now!" he said. Behind his head, a small glowing green ball flew by, but it wasn't a ball at all, it was Pym, the son of Avengers, Giant Man and Wasp. In his pixie form, Pym was a younger version of his mother, with all of her brains.

"Do you know how complex these things are?" Pym asked in his tiny pixie voice. He flew in through one of the bolts in the Sentinel's head, hiding him from sight. But he was being heard through the echo his voice made inside of the large metal dome. "Just scratching the surface of their security walls would take me a few hours, but to take one offline-"

"You have ten seconds!" Wolverine said drawing his claws out. He wasn't one for chatter, if intimidating Pym got the job done, then he'd do it.

"I'm almost done!" the boy genius whined, "You could be a little nicer you know…I am the only one who can do this sort of thing…" Pym made a mistake. Instead of disabling the android, he reactivated it. The Sentinel's orange eyes lit up, it was functional again. There was a whirring hum of the robots power. It began to move and stand.

"Pym!" Black Panther shouted. The Sentinel was on its feet now.

"Get out of there!" Wolverine ordered, "Get out of there now!" they heard Pym scream. The small pixie was being thrashed around back and forth inside of the robot's metal head.

"Crack it's head open!" Torunn declared raising her large Asguardian sword into the air. "We must get Pym out of there!" she took flight and heaved her sword. The Sentinel's orange eyes lit bright when Torunn came into view and shot her with down with a paralyzing optic beam.

"Help!" Pym shouted from inside of the Sentinel's head. He was being thrashed around as the robot moved. "My wings are broken and I can't grow!"

"Oh for the love of Ray J!" young Hawkeye scoffed. He rushed forward with his bow and arrow already drawn. "Pym, hold on in there buddy, I'm busting ya out! Hold on!" he shouted. He aimed his arrow for the Sentinel's eye.

"Hawkeye, move!" Wolverine shouted. The Sentinel spotted the archer and its eyes lit up again. Torunn was a super-human/Asguardian, she could withstand a blast from the Sentinel and live. Hawkeye was a human.

"Not until Pym is out of there!" Hawkeye said. "Here comes help, little man!" he announced. Hawkeye fired his shot, so did the Sentinel.

The arrow flew through the air the same time the Sentinel's optic beam did. They collided with each other, but the arrow was vaporized by the beam, and the beam was still coming for Hawkeye. The white haired boy covered his head with one arm.

"No!" Azari shouted across the battle field. Hawkeye gritted his teeth as he heard the blast strike something. But it wasn't his flesh. The optic blast struck hard against something metal. He opened his eyes and looked at the ground, where there was a large shadow over him.

Hawkeye's teammate, Titan, was standing in front of the small human with his metal arm up over his head. Titan's mutant power to coat his entire body in organic steel saved them both. He had run and jumped in front of Hawkeye in time to intercept the blast before there was a casualty.

"Thanks man!" Hawkeye gasped when he realized that Titan saved his life. The metal boy smirked and nodded.

"No problem" he said, his normal voice altered by the metal covering.

"Hurry!" Pym squealed.

From the sidelines of the battle field, Mavican Natchios stood up and sighed. She pulled her black hair back into a pony tail and rolled her eyes. She was a mutant known as the Cheshire Cat, and although she was on the X-Men, she was not always a team player.

"If no one's going to shut him up, I will!" she said taking her sai out of her boot and holding it firm in her hand. Mavican's body disappeared in white smoke. She reappeared floating right by the Sentinel's head and stabbed her ninja blade into its eye.

She was another child of two well known superheroes. Mavican's father was The Daredevil, the man without fear, and her mother was Elektra, the most dangerous woman in the world. With parents like that, Mavican feared nothing and did anything.

She reached her hand into the hole she made in the Sentinel's eye and dug around inside the robot's head until she found her prize, the small pixie hostage lodged inside. Cheshire Cat's entire body disappeared along with Pym's as the Sentinel's good eye spotted them and being to prepare for another blast.

"Hawkeye, take out the android's other eye!" Wolverine ordered pointing with his claws upwards to the Sentinel's head.

"I'm out of arrows!" Hawkeye stated. Wolverine shouted in anger. But there was a final mutant. He ran up besides Wolverine with a bow of his own, and one last arrow in his quiver.

"I got it!" Rogue Archer stated. He positioned himself right and aimed his arrow. The Sentinel's head spun right towards him. The young boy released the arrow, shooting it right towards the Sentinel. It was a direct hit. The arrow pierced the robot's electronic eye and exploded once it was inside, down the Sentinel went.

"Excellent…" a woman's voice boomed all around. The group of young X-Men gathered around by their leader Wolverine and looked towards the sky, where the voice was loudest. "Amateur display of teamwork, but still effective" she said, "The mission was a success. Computer, end simulation" she said.

All around, the entire battle scene disappeared right before the mutants' eyes. The fire, the rocks, dirt and robot parts disappeared right before their very eyes. Wolverine rolled his eyes and dropped his shoulders.

"Hey Storm, next time you lead the lesson" Wolverine said. The woman he was talking to appeared flying down towards the group of mutants and chuckled.

"You have no patience for young ones, Logan" Ororo said, "You never have…" the shorter man rolled his eyes and was the first one to walk out of the Danger Room doors. "Class dismissed." Ororo said.
Ok, honestly. Yes or No?
I wrote this up while I was in New York. When I was with my younger cousins, they were watching this movie,
[link] (Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow) and I got this idea...
Well, I like the X-Men more than the Avengers, so I didn't a little changing and this happened.
I can do character bios if you all are a tad confused about who the hell is who.. :)

So pretty much, this story will be about the next generation of heroes all living within the walls of the Xavier Institute.

So the question goes: Do I continue this project, or leave it as is and move on to other projects? Your choice...
